Safe Places For Children In Danger
Secret Harbor serves children—children who have a combination of behavioral, social, developmental, learning or emotional problems. These children come to us seeking help and hope for the future. Frequently they are in danger in their own homes or because their lives are out of control. Their family relationships have been significantly disrupted, coming to us traumatized and afraid.
It is Secret Harbor’s mission to save these children by providing them Safe Places to Succeed. The agency provides a broad spectrum of services and programs to support the growth and success of children, youth and families in the most effective and least restrictive settings available. Secret Harbor provides structure and stability, nurturance and support. Our programs provide safe places for distressed children to develop healthy relationships, build on their own strengths and experience success. We work hard to restore their laughter, dignity and place in the community.
Our Success Model
At Secret Harbor we have dedicated staff with extraordinary commitment to the children and families we serve. We believe that building healthy relationships with our clients and our community partners forms the foundation upon which our clients succeed. While our demeanor is always professional, we use our hearts to guide our interventions.
Our Administrative Offices and Foster Care Resources division are located in Burlington.
