Washington Governor Christine Gregoire was special guest and keynote speaker for Secret Harbor’s fifth annual fundraising event “Celebrating Success” held at the Swinomish Northern Lights Casino on March 7^th.  Governor Gregoire spoke about the need for support for children in the state’s foster home and residential treatment system.  She acknowledged Secret Harbor’s new Community Care model as an example of innovative care consistent with the direction of the State of Washington. 

Secret Harbor has served children since 1947 who have a combination of severe behavioral, social, developmental, learning or emotional problems.  The agency provides a broad spectrum of services and programs to support the growth and success of children by providing structure and stability, nurturance and support.
