How Can You Help?

The terrible effects of child abuse last beyond childhood. Untreated, many young victims of abuse become violent adults. Since 1947, Secret Harbor has been striving to end the cycle of violence through the provision of therapeutic treatment, mentoring and a nurturing environment. Your donations can help us carry on our work of saving children from a life of hopelessness to becoming a productive adult member of society. People willing to become foster parents are always needed. Check our list of volunteer opportunities for other needs of time and skill.

Secret Harbor is a 501(3)(c) organization. Your donations are tax deductible.

Cash Gifts
Make a cash, check or credit card donation. Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Remember you can designate Secret Harbor thru the United Way Campaign at your workplace.

Matching Gifts
Double your contribution to Secret Harbor if you are employed by a company with a matching gifts program. Send your company's matching gift form with your contribution to us.

Stock Gifts
Contact us regarding transferring stock.

Memorial & Honorarium Gifts
Any gift to Secret Harbor can be made in the name of another individual. Such gifts will honor the cherished memory of a loved one while enabling Secret Harbor the means to help abused children.

A will is an essential part of your estate plan which controls distribution of your assets upon your death. It enables you to make future plans for family, friends and charitable organizations such as Secret Harbor. A charitable gift in your will is simple to execute, commits no current funds and may be beneficial for estate tax purposes.
