There are many ways to make a financial contribution. Small, medium and large gifts are all appreciated and valued. They all add up to a brighter future for Secret Harbor kids.
Secret Harbor relies on the support and generosity of donors in our community to provide crucial services that are not covered by State fees for basic care. Your gift today will ensure that children and youth in our care have the services and resources they need to heal, grow, build healthy relationships and find success.
Additionally, gifts from individuals play a key role in helping Secret Harbor leverage funds from local corporations, foundations, United Way and civic groups.

Third Party Giving. Secret Harbor has a donation page at the Seattle Foundation. Secret Harbor participates in Seattle Foundation’s GiveBIG day of philanthropy each year in May. In 2015, GiveBIG day is Tuesday May 5th from midnight to midnight. Donations made on May 5th through the Seattle Foundation are eligible for a prorated portion of a matching fund pool. Please select Secret Harbor as your recipient or one of your recipients. Similarly, we have an account at Network for Good, and donations may be made to Secret Harbor on their website.
Secret Harbor also receives a percentage of eligible purchases made at AmazonSmile and purchases at any Fred Meyer store through their Community Rewards program – if you register and select Secret Harbor as your chosen charity. For information and to register, go to About AmazonSmile. Instructions – Fred Meyer Community Rewards.
Planned Giving. Loyal donors might wish to consider a legacy gift that will benefit children and youth into the future. The most common planned gift is a simple bequest in your will. Suggested language:
“I give, devise and bequeath to Secret Harbor in Burlington, Washington Tax ID 91-1025997, (insert the $$ amount or a description of the asset), for the benefit of Secret Harbor and its general purpose.”
There are many other forms of planned gifts that may provide long term income or tax benefits that are favorable to you and your family. Secret Harbor recommends that your consult with your financial and tax advisors when considering a planned gift so that your gift meets your personal and family needs.
